Richard H. Koby practices in the areas of general corporate, commercial law and international trade matters. His experience includes representation of international and domestic corporations and other entities with respect to mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, licensing, commercial transactions, tax structuring, financing activities, private offerings and employment law matters.
In the area of international trade, Mr. Koby represents a number of domestic and foreign agricultural trade organizations, agribusinesses, and food companies, including general and special counsel to importer and exporter trade associations, co-founder of national coalition of food importers, federal government agency and legislative affairs representation, direct U.S. and foreign government lobbying, international trade action representation, political action committee activities, and labeling and other food regulatory matters.
Mr. Koby is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and has a masters degree in taxation from the New York University School of Law. He is a member of the New York County Lawyers' Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
