Marsha G. Ajhar practices in the area of intellectual property law, including trademark and copyright counseling, prosecution and licensing. She has represented a wide variety of clients in the litigation of intellectual property causes before various federal courts including infringement claims, unfair competition and false advertising as well as in other trademark disputes and proceedings before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Ms. Ajhar’s experience also includes product branding and clearance, IP-based transactions including purchase-and-sale agreements, domain name disputes, advertising review and IP portfolio management. She graduated from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts with concurrently awarded B.A./M.A. degrees and from Vermont Law School. Ms. Ajhar is admitted to practice in New York and Massachusetts as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She is a member of the New York Intellectual Property Law Association, where she formerly chaired its Trademark Law and Practice Committee, and the International Trademark Association.
