Michael Paradise is Counsel to the Firm and a member of its Corporate and Securities Department. He advises individuals, corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, domestic and offshore hedge funds, commodity trading advisers, commodity pool operators, investment advisers and broker-dealers on a broad range of regulatory, securities, general corporate, arbitration and litigation matters.
He has a great deal of experience acting as a general counsel to a wide range of clients in many industries. For almost seven years from 1996 to 2003, Mr. Paradise was a principal of and the general counsel to The Centurion Group, a diversified investment management and venture capital firm.
Mr. Paradise has appeared on a number of panels and has made presentations at seminars on hedge funds and venture capital.
Mr. Paradise earned his undergraduate degree, with honors (B.A. 1984) from the University of Rochester and his law degree, with honors (J.D. 1987) from The George Washington University.
