Victor M. Metsch practices primarily in the area of commercial dispute resolution, including arbitration, mediation, litigation in the Federal, State and Surrogate's Court and appellate work. He has had extensive experience and has developed particular expertise in the areas of banking, title, brokerage, construction, architecture and engineering as they apply to the purchase, sale, financing, design, development, construction, renovation and leasing of commercial and residential real property. Mr. Metsch's representations include banks, institutional lenders, developers and tenants. He also practices extensively in the area of employment law and litigation. Mr. Metsch's representations include both employers and employees.
Mr. Metsch is a graduate of Cornell University (ILR) and the New York University School of Law. He is, or was, a member of several Court and litigation practice committees of the New York State Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, and the Nassau County Bar Association. Mr. Metsch was formerly a member of the Judiciary Committee of the New York City Bar Association and the New York State.
Mr. Metsch is active in community affairs, having been a member of the Great Neck Board of Zoning Appeals, counsel to AIPAC in New York City, and a trustee, officer and counsel to Temple Beth-El of Great Neck.
